just a quick note to remind you that S.T.I. Gotcha is still going on. Don’t forget to let me know when you get your person. Remember, the prize is a gift certificate to the mall!

Anyway, I don’t have a whole lot to say today, but I came across this really cool game the other day. You have to try and push all the buttons in the right order to win. It’s really cool because even if you don’t win the game, it’s really fun to see where the different sequences get you!

Try it out…this one’s called Grow Cube, but there’s a few of them. Try them all out!

I took a break from the blog for reading week, but I’m back to posting regularly, starting today. Here are today’s updates:

1. First order of business… Welcome back! I hope you all had an awesome reading week and are feeling refreshed and ready to get back to work! I know a lot of you went away on vacation, or had a chance to go home, so let me know what you were up to and how your week went sometime soon!

2. I also just want to let you know that this week is going to be extremely busy for me, so I apologize in advance if I’m not as available as I normally am…things will hopefully be back to normal starting next week!

3. That being said, I’m going to have to postpone our ‘Bake-Off’ (that was scheduled for tomorrow) to next week…more details to come! I’m also going to have to miss ‘Heroes’ tonight…I’ve got a meeting at 9:30, unfortunately! I will be around for ‘The Office’ and ‘Scrubs’, though, so if you’re interested, stop by!

That’s about all I’ve got for now…I’d tell you to keep checking the blog for updates, but if you’re reading this, you’re probably not my target audience for that statement

Anyway, good luck with job interviews and midterms and assignments and all that jazz!

Anyway, just a reminder that today is the last day to fill out your don evaluation and still be included in the draw for the ipod. So make sure you get that filled out tonight by midnight!

Countdown to Reading Week: 2 more days!

Here are the Gotcha rules (they’re posted outside my door too!):

• ‘Give’ your S.T.I. (sexually transmitted infection) to the person on your card
• You can protect yourself from S.T.I.s by carrying a condom (in your hand, pocket, purse, backpack, etc.)
• If you catch someone unprotected, teach them about the S.T.I. they just received. Then, take their card from them, and try to ‘infect’ your new target.
• Let me know every time you ‘infect’ someone
• Last person in the game wins a $20 gift certificate for Conestoga Mall
• Any questions? Just ask me!

Countdown to reading week: 3 more days!

Just a friendly reminder to fill out your don application! It’ll just take a couple of minutes…it’s a great way to avoid midterm studying without feeling too guilty! Seriously, though, it’s really important both for me and for you that you fill it out. I really want to know how I’m doing and how I can improve, so that I can make the rest of the term as great as I possibly can! I’m looking forward to hearing all of your suggestions!

Now, if that isn’t motivation enough, if you fill out the evaluation by  Wednesday, you could win your very own, brand spanking new, ipod! And if THAT isn’t motivation enough, then how about this? The floor in Wellesley with the most evals completed gets a pizza party! Now, who doesn’t like pizza?

Unfortunately, I ran into a couple of problems getting all the info and ‘props’ I need for our Gotcha! game to start today. There will just be a bit of a delay in getting your names out to you.
